The newly discovered planet who actually look like earth, sitting outside our solar system and the ideal place for life, but this Kepler 22-b is much bigger than earth, It also rotates around a star who actually looks like the twin of our sun. Kepler 22-b planet years consist of 290 days, It also have rocks and waters. The Kepler 22-b lies in the middle of the Goldilocks zone, which are hard to find place, where the said atmosphere, temperature, water are perfect for living, water is not too cold nor too hot, It also doesn't freeze or boil.
This was announced Monday by the NASA. Kepler 22-b is the first planet to be discovered that actually looks like earth, according to Geoff Marcy of University of California, Berkeley which is one of the pioneers of planet hunting outside our solar system
"This is a phenomenal discovery in the course of human history", "this discovery shows that we Homo Sapiens are straining our reach into the universe to find planets that reminds us of home, We are almost there."
"It's so exciting to imagine the possibilities", "floating on that world completely covered in water could be like being on an earth ocean and its not beyond the realm of possibility that life could exist in such an ocean" said Natalie Batalha (kepler deputy science chief).
